Weak Erections Caused By Performance Anxiety!Hi Mark, Thanks for this great site.
I'm seeking help regarding my inability to get or maintain a decent erection.
As a result of this problem, I've just been dumped by my girlfriend.
I visited my GP and went for a series of blood tests.
The results came back and all was said to be good, therefore I assumed my problem was psychological.
I've been visiting a sex therapist and my confidence and self esteem has been boosted and any performance related anxieties have diminished.
However I still fail to get a morning erection and even when practising alone, my erection is still limp.
Until 4 weeks ago I would masturbate at least once a day. I've now reduced that to once a week.
I'm a fit and healthy 39 year old who visits the gym regularly.
I have absolutely no idea why I can't get hard.
I can't stop thinking about it and I'm having sleepless nights worrying over it.
I understand that worrying will also have a negative effect but I feel that I'm getting nowhere fast, but don't know why.

I have a feeling there may be two things going on here.
First...You're not producing nitric oxide at optimal levels, resulting in poor vasodilation and weak erections.
Second...You've let this go to your head, so now you're psyched out and unable to perform.
Here's how this situation normally plays out...A guy has a brief setback in the erection department, a problem he never imagined could or would happen to him.
