Vasectomy Warning! Premature Impotence!

Vasectomy Warning! Premature Impotence! This all started when I was 33 years old and married for life. At least that's what I thought at the time.
She didn't want kids, and was very insistent that I get the
vasectomy so I caved in and went along with it. If the doctors were doing them they had to be safe, right?
Fast forward 18 months later.
The wife leaves me for her new "boyfriend" and I'm left stuck, in the prime of my life, broken and sterilized.
I'm convinced to this day that she left me because of the vasectomy that SHE talked me into.
Basically, before my followup visit to the doctor I knew that something was wrong with me. I was not the same guy I was before.
Also, she was the one initiating sex all the time now, not me. This was a complete role reversal for us.
My theory is, she lost the man she was married to so she went out and found another one to replace me.

I'm now in my early 50's and am living with severe impotence and
erectile dysfunction issues. If I don't take the blue pills well in advance of an encounter, sex is impossible for me.
I've spoken with my doctor, and he recommended
testosterone replacement therapy, but the ED drugs are about as far as I'm willing to go.
I'm with a much more understanding partner now who would never leave me, but that doesn't compensate for the fact that I'm damaged for life.
I would still like to be able to engage in sex without having to rely on chemicals to achieve an erection.
I've thought of a
vasectomy reversal, but after almost 20 years I'm not optimistic that the outcome would be positive.
Anyway, congratulations on your site, this is information that needs to be out there for others to see.
Thanks you for giving me the opportunity to do my part.
