Morbid Obesity, Osteoarthritis, and Weight Loss
by Steve
Morbid Obesity, Osteoarthritis, and Weight LossHi Mark,In the past 2 years I have had 3 surgeries. It looks like I may have 2 more on the left shoulder, left elbow, and right knee.
I have put on a lot of weight. I'm 5ft 8 and weigh over 250. I do have enormous bones.
I'd love to
lose weight and get down to 200 lbs. and be solid. In high school I was a gymnast and well built.
I work pretty much around the clock. This is tough on a 43 year old man with injuries. I have done a lot of damage to my body from work.
I'd like to find something that will give me drive, energy, stamina, and strength.
I'd also like to find something that will help repair my body as well.
Morbid Obesity, Osteoarthritis, and Weight LossHello Steve,
5 foot 8 and 250 pounds means one thing my friend...
You're heading towards the morbidly obese zone!
You may not have entered the room yet, but the door is open, and you're awfully close to walking in.
You say the damage done to your body came from work, but I have another theory.
Your aches and pains are coming from the 75 pounds of extra baggage you walk around with every day of the week.
That 75 or so pounds of body fat that travels with you wherever you go.
The protective cartilage around your knees take on the brunt of this assault.
For proof of this fact, think how often you've seen a severely overweight person walking around with a cane, and a serious limp.
The condition that causes all of this is called osteoarthritis, and the obese suffer from it at an alarming rate.
This occurs, because heavy people place their joints under chronic and extreme stress.
Stress that leads to loss of cartilage, which exposes the bone in and around the joints, leading to stiffness, aches and severe pain.
And it's not just your knees that you need to be worried about.
An increase in body mass index also elevates the risk of developing osteoarthritis in the elbows, shoulders, hands, and other parts of the body.
And here's the worst part...This is a degenerative condition that will worsen over time if you don't get a grip on the situation.
You said in your message you'd like to find something that will give you drive, energy, stamina, and strength..something that will repair your body.
Well, I have the answer you're looking for Steve...
It's called weight Loss!Trust me, this is the one and ONLY answer for you right now.
You could spend a fortune, patronizing the top doctors world wide looking for that magic pill...opting for their surgeries, taking their drugs, but nothing will even come remotely close to helping you as much as this will.
Here's the mental image you need to lock down deep inside your brain...
An image of YOU standing in front of your mirror, with 75 pounds of dead weight permanently removed from your body.
It won't be easy my friend, that's for sure, but life is much too important to let this one slip by.
Look at it this way...Where are you going to be in 5 short years if you don't hit the brakes and shut this down, right now!
I think we both know the answer to this question, and the picture isn't very pretty.
