Diabetic Erectile Dysfunction & Impotence!
Erectile Dysfunction and Diabetes!
If you are diabetic, and past the age of 50, there's a 60% chance you're going to have problems getting solid erections.
Over the age of 70 and that number jumps to 95%...
High blood sugar levels damage the nerves and blood vessels that lead to the penis. This damage, especially to the blood vessels, puts a stop to the action of nitric oxide the vasodialiator responsibe for creating an erection.
This means that even though you may have plenty of male hormones, and all the desire in the world, you're still going to have a hard time geting an erection.
So what can you do?
First, you need to take a good look at your fasting blood sugar levels....
What are normal fasting blood sugar levels?
Ideally below 90
90 to 100 is acceptable
100 to 110 and it's time to start getting worried
If your fasting level is above 120 on more on 2 separate occasions, you are considered to be a diabetic by the medical profession.
Blood sugar after a meal should ideally be between 100-110. That's a tough one for many people, especially if you eat a carby diet. A spike of not more than 120 may be more realistic, although this may still be difficult for some.
Once you get over 140 or so the blood sugar starts doing damage to the beta cells in the pancreas, and also the nerves and blood vessels in the penis
High carb foods. Breads, cakes, cookies, cereals, grains, candy, soft drinks, potatoes, etc..
This list could go on forever.
Keep this in mind,
If it comes in a box, it's probably high carb.
If it's a food that wasn't available 200 years ago, it's probably high in carbs.

The following information is very important. Please take the time to read through all of it carefully!
If you have diabetes, high blood sugar levels are doing serious damage to the blood vessels that lead to your penis as well as your heart.
The following supplements will minimize that damage.
In the long run, the use of these supplements could very well save your life
I personally take each and every one of them daily.
I've provided links that will take you directly to the brands that I have been using if you'd like additional information.
Chromium
Researchers divided 180 men and women with Type II diabetes into three
groups, each receiving twice daily doses of either 200 mcg or 500 mcg of
chromium or a placebo. At the end of two months, those who took 1,000
mcg of chromium daily showed significant improvement in insulin
response, the number if insulin receptors, and levels of blood lipids
(fats and cholesterol).
Magnesium Glycinate
Based on current knowledge, clinicians have good reason to believe that
magnesium supplementation may play a role in delaying type 2 diabetes
onset and in warding off devastating complications such as
cardiovascular disease, retinopathy, nephropathy, and erectile
dysfunction.
R Alpha lipoic acid
Alpha lipoic acid is helpful to individuals with type II diabetes.
First, it improves the overall control of blood sugar and reduces blood
sugar and insulin levels. Second, its anti-oxidant and anti-glycation
effects reduce the damage caused by high blood sugar levels.
Pomegranate extract
A study published recently in the journal Atherosclerosis looked at 10
adults with Type 2 diabetes. These folks consumed six ounces of
concentrated pomegranate every day for three months. At the end of the
study, researchers found less hardening of the arteries and a smaller
uptake of LDL ("bad") cholesterol into cells
Nattokinase
Researchers have found that the nattokinase enzyme could dissolve
fibrils that contribute to diabetes and central nervous system
degeneration. Earlier research discovered that nattokinase breaks apart
blood clots, diminishing the risk of thrombosis and heart attacks in
those with diabetes.
Benfotiamine
There are four separate pathways that occur in the body that can lead to
small blood vessel damage due to hyperglycemia in diabetes. It has been
proven in clinical studies that benfotiamine effectively blocks 3 of
these pathways.
