While wearing the zinger during the day, I have noticed a cooper taste in my mouth and I would like to know if this could be related to the cooper rod that is touching my skin?

Regarding the Zinger...I've owned and used a copper unit for several years, and have never had the taste issue you described.
As a matter of fact, I've never heard that complaint from anyone else either.
But, that does not mean there's nothing going on here.
If I were you, I'd play it safe and switch back to the
silver zinger for a while.
When you go back to the copper device again, pay close attention and see if the taste reoccurs.
If it does, I'd definitely drop it and go back to the silver device permanently.
